Strategy presets
ON THIS PAGE
Settings → Strategies includes the Strategy library: six ready-made strategy recipes, each a different blend of the four measures signals score: price strength (momentum), steadiness (low volatility), cheapness (value), profitability (quality). A preset is a complete strategy AND a behavior: some also carry a built-in stop-loss and a take-profit that trims winners into cash, so picking a strategy can change how the engine TRADES, not just how it ranks. One click on + Add to your mix adds a preset to your strategy mix (the set of strategies your account runs at once, each trading its own share of your funds), and its card shows the factor mix, any built-in protection, and the backtest test-window length, so you can compare before you pick. A strategy already in your mix reads IN MIX with its current share.
The catalog
| Preset | Character |
|---|---|
| Steady Harvest | Conservative: harvests gains into cash as they build (trims winners), with a tight stop-loss. Stays invested, never parks in cash |
| Steady Compounders | Conservative: calm, profitable compounders (low volatility + quality lead) |
| All-Weather Blend | Moderate: equal weights across all four factors |
| Trend Rider | Aggressive: leans hard on momentum; stronger in trends, harsher in reversals |
| Bargain Hunter | Moderate: value-led, hunting cheap, profitable stocks |
| Momentum × Quality | Aggressive: the classic pairing of the two |
In your mix, and tuned
Strategies you’ve added are marked IN MIX with their share of your funds; the split itself — and the cash reserve it leaves — is set on the Strategy allocations table. If you adjust a strategy under Advanced: per-strategy tuning (pick the strategy, then turn factors on or off or change their weights — see How signals are scored), its card reads (tuned), so you can tell at a glance that you’ve moved away from the preset’s defaults. Tuning stays with that strategy: each strategy in your mix keeps its own settings, and adding another preset never touches them.
