Signal runs & scheduling

Signals refresh two ways: a scheduled daily run, and the Run now button on the Signals page.

The daily run

Every morning before the US market opens (12:00 UTC — 7 or 8 a.m. in New York, depending on daylight saving), SleeveFolio automatically starts a signal run for every active account. Each run reads your universe (the list of symbols you’ve chosen to trade) and active strategy version, computes the four-factor ranking — each symbol scored on price strength (momentum), steadiness (low volatility), cheapness (value), and profitability (quality) — and replaces your previous signal set with the fresh one.

Run now

Available to every tier, any time. Two guards keep it sensible: an empty universe is refused outright (nothing to rank), and a short cooldown follows each completed run so back-to-back presses don’t recompute an already-fresh set — the button shows the remaining wait. Manual and scheduled runs work exactly the same way.

What a run produces

A ranked signal set on the Signals page — symbol, composite score, factor breakdown, and the buy / hold / sell action. Whether anything trades on it is governed by the auto-execute switch; with it off, the set is advisory.
