Notification channels
ON THIS PAGE
SleeveFolio can reach you three ways, each toggleable per event:
- In-app: the notifications inbox inside the product
- Email: to your account address
- Push: browser push, desktop or mobile, after a one-time permission grant from Notifications settings
Outbound is opt-in
By default, only safety alerts leave the app: kill-switch actions, reconciliation drift (when our records stop matching your broker’s), risk-cap breaches, and billing problems (a failed payment pauses live trading) default to email + push (they’re rare, protective, and exactly what you’d want interrupting dinner). The hourly crypto safety check’s sell alerts default to in-app + push, with email there to switch on. Everything else recurring (fills, digests, auto-execute run summaries) starts in-app-only or off until you turn it on. If you follow a published universe list, its daily add/remove notes land in-app only — transparency, not something that needs your action. The one exception is rare: if the rules behind your list ever change in a way that needs your review, that alert emails you by default too, because automatic updates stay paused until you agree.
Configuring
The Notifications page holds the digest card and the per-event matrix: nearly every event × channel combination is an explicit switch, and changes save instantly. The one exception is the kill-switch email — a safety confirmation that always sends and can’t be turned off (its cell stays pinned on).
