The event matrix
The matrix on the Notifications page crosses every event type with every channel. These are the events and their out-of-the-box defaults:
| Event | In-app | Push | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kill-switch action | on | on | on |
| Reconciliation drift | on | on | on |
| Risk cap breach | on | on | on |
| Billing & payment | on | on | on |
| Order fill | on | off | off |
| Auto-execute run | on | off | off |
| Crypto safety exit | on | off | on |
| Backtest result | on | off | off |
| Universe updated | on | off | off |
| Universe list rules updated | on | on | off |
| Daily P&L (profit and loss) digest | off | off | off |
The pattern: the four safety events (kill-switch, reconciliation drift, risk caps, billing) default fully on; informational events default to the in-app inbox; the digest is fully opt-in (see Digest emails). Every in-app and email cell is yours to flip, with a few exceptions: the kill-switch email always sends — a confirmation of a Pause, Cancel, or Liquidate is a safety alert that can’t be turned off, so its email cell stays pinned on — and two informational notices, the backtest result and the “Universe updated” summary, appear only in the in-app inbox, so their email and push cells stay off. The push column is interactive only when push support is switched on for SleeveFolio; until then it shows “soon” and email plus the in-app inbox carry everything. Once push is available, an “Enable push on this browser” button appears in Notifications settings so you can grant your browser’s permission on each device.
