Apply or discard pending changes
ON THIS PAGE
Edits on Risk & Caps don’t save field-by-field. Every change you make — a sleeve budget (a sleeve is a bucket of your account: stocks, crypto, or cash), a dollar cap, the auto-execute switch — collects into one pending batch of changes, counted in the header, until you apply or discard the whole batch.
Why save everything together?
Because risk settings interact. Loosening a per-trade cap while tightening a sleeve budget is one coherent decision; saving them one keystroke at a time would let a half-edited state govern a signal run that happens to start mid-edit. Batching means your live limits move from one consistent state to another, never through the middle.
Apply or discard
Apply saves the whole batch in a single step, and the new limits govern the next order. Discard reverts the form to what’s saved. Leaving the page without applying keeps your saved limits untouched.
