Create your account
SleeveFolio has no passwords to manage. You sign in one of three ways, and all three reach the same account:
- Magic link — enter your email and click the sign-in link we send you
- Google — one click: you approve access from your Google account, and we never see your password
- GitHub — the same one-click approval, from your GitHub account
Your email address is what identifies your account: signing in with Google and later with a magic link to the same address lands in the same account. You can see and manage the linked sign-in methods anytime under Settings → Account (see Connected identities).
What happens on first sign-in
A fresh account starts in paper mode — simulated trading, no real money — with nothing connected. You’re routed into the six-step onboarding wizard — disclaimer, broker keys, universe (the list of symbols your strategies may trade), risk preview, notifications, review — before the dashboard unlocks. The whole pass takes a few minutes, and only the disclaimer acknowledgment is strictly required to proceed (broker keys can wait).
Sign-ins after enrolling 2FA
Once 2FA is enrolled, every sign-in asks for your code — magic link, Google, and GitHub alike. You’ll enter a 6-digit code from your authenticator app (or use one of your single-use recovery codes) before the session is granted.
