Recovery codes

Enrolling in 2FA issues ten one-time recovery codes. Each works exactly once at the sign-in code prompt, in place of an authenticator code. They exist for one scenario: your authenticator device is gone and you still need in.

Shown once, never readable again

The codes are displayed a single time, at enrollment (with download and copy buttons). After that SleeveFolio keeps only a scrambled one-way version of each code. Nobody, including us, can read your codes back. If you didn’t save them, turn 2FA off and back on to mint a fresh set (see below).

Getting a fresh set

There is no one-click regenerate. To get a fresh set of ten, turn 2FA off and back on. On the two-factor card under Settings → Account, choose Disable 2FA (this asks for a current authenticator code), then enroll again: scan the QR and verify a code. The moment you re-enroll, a brand-new set of ten appears and every old code stops working, so any saved copies of the old set become useless paper. Re-enrolling also issues a new authenticator entry, so you’ll re-scan the QR into your app. Your old authenticator entry stops working too. Because disabling 2FA fails the Paper → Live safety gate, live trading is suspended until you finish re-enrolling. Your account stays marked LIVE (the PAPER/LIVE indicator does not change) and no new live orders go through until your second factor is back. To actually move the account to paper, use Revert to PAPER on the broker environment card.
